Alyssa Shafer

Alyssa has served at Mosaic for 4 years, where she leads as our Small Group Pastor, Communications Director, and heads up our Online Ministry. Before being called into full-time ministry, she worked as a special education teacher in Pittsburgh and served as a volunteer in her church. Throughout the year, Alyssa enjoys using her gift of teaching and speaking at women’s events, volunteer trainings, and weekend messages.

Passionate about helping others take their next step toward Jesus, she loves making the Bible come alive through engaging and authentic teaching.

Alyssa and her husband, Cole, love to travel, spend time outdoors, and cherish moments with their families—including their fifteen nieces and nephews. In the midst of their busy schedules, they’ve taken up the hobbies of paddle boarding and pickleball when they can.
